Tom Norman
In the 1980s Tom Norman was engineer for KTWO Television, first with studio equipment and then as transmitter chief. As Fred Pfeiffer remembers, "as the only engineer who would wear a white shirt and tie to work in electronics, and stay clean too!"
From there he was director of telecommunications at University of Wyoming and had the same office on campus as I use now in the basement of Knight Hall. That was followed with a stint as Chief of Television Engineering for American Samoa in the 1990's, a great experience for his family as well. Back in the states he went to Cincinnati OH as a systems engineer for Harris Corp (see picture) for seven years, and now is at Burst Communications in Centennial Colorado doing system integration.

Tom is sheparding the Harris installation of new digital television station gear at Salt Lake City in 1998.
